Looking good Azz.
I didn't hear the gearbox shift once during that, does it still function or did you inhibit the 2-speed function?

I think I broke it. it was shifting before I got the video camera out, but it stopped shifting as soon as I got the camera out, typical (I think its
camera shy) lol, I havent had time to pull it down yet and see whats going on.

Nice video!
It looked like the lawn was on fire.
And it looked like the car was just waiting for it to go in the street again.
Thanks for sharing.

Azz, thanks for the nice video, there's no mistaking the sound of the .70, no matter what it might be in. Throttle management is critical with that
beast, it looks like you had a good grip on it. One thing for sure, it isn't too hard to retrace the path the truck just took, nice smoke trail.
I don't think there's a lack of power there.
I also didn't hear it shift, that would be totally far out, popping wheelies as it shifts to second gear. , the top end would be insane, for sure.
I can't be bothered to show up here!

Looks good man! Are you using a heli clutch or a alum.sliding clutch? I never had any luck with the alum.sliding clutch shoes,so I just put the heli
clutch back in.

Meezer im using the nova sliding alum shoes, the heli clutch doesnt fit on, it hits the gearbox, the alloy shoes definatly appear to be hooking up ok
for me.

No problem Jeff, I have two prepared .70 powered MGT's in the stable, both new. Get your Butt back to Toronto and we can go out and trash them ;-)

BudBoy, welcome to the site. I'm also wanting to mix my own fuel, let me know if you find a good source for the nitro, the methanol and oil I can
come up with easily.
I can't be bothered to show up here!

I misled you a little, I buy Race fuel and blend Caster oil in to get the oil content up to around 20 percent. I start with 33 percent Byron's. Glen

Not a problem BudBoy, there are places to purchase just the nitro, but the hazmat charges really get ya in the backside. I did a lot of searching
yesterday, and I think I found a source right here in my own state, not sure yet. If not, I'll wait till next year and get some at Toledo.

I worked on the EK4 for a while yesterday, made sure the ring was free, put a new servo in. I ordered a new rx for it, maybe by the end of next week,
I will have a fresh video for you guys to watch. It has been a long time since I fired one up. Glen
