I decided to try a little something new to inspire me to take more pics.
I'm going to try to go out and shoot something every day to add to this post.
Please feel free to comment on any of the pics and also feel free to start your own pic a day post. Maybe we could even add a whole new forum just for
this if there is any interest.

Not that I like that kind of crappy music of course.
The pics look nice, but I really like your idea even better. If there's enough interest in this to warrant a forum, count me in as well.

Sweet looking pictures!!
Funny that you mention the pic a day thing... I was thinking last night of a way to get out and start taking more pictures... There was a perfect storm in the distance that I was going to try and take
some pics of.. but have to get a tripod first... I don't think I can hold the camera still for 4 seconds or so!
How did you get the effect on that first picture?

I hate Prince. He's more like a queen if you ask me. 
Thanks for the comments guys.
The first one was shot with strong backlighting, (sun setting) and no use of fill in flash. I did add the purple tint in photoshop with the colorize
feature.
The second photo was taken at the same time with the use of fill flash to light the subject.
Feel free to start a thread of your own for a pic a day. If we get a few going, we'll fire up a new forum and move the post into it.

I have a Q:
When you add "Faxon Photography" to your images, have you written an action or something for this? Or do you have to do it manually every time? I'd
like to start adding "jcv 2005" to mine and it would be cool to do it with a click!

Thanks. As the misses said, still playing in the yard. The neighbours are still safe.
We really need to chat on the phone about the watermark thing. It's to much to type, especially not being sure what software you are using to PP.

Let's try this again.
Here's a few shots from today of my Brother and Sis in laws new puppy. Her name is Dyna - as in Harley Davidson DynaGlide. They just got her today.
She arrived in Manchester airport at noon time from her home in Georgia.
